Elio has a unique experience base suitable for this forum. He began his career in Automotive Industry, whereby he employed Design for Manufacturing & Assembly process guidance within GM businesses driving cost reduction across their Product Development teams. He then joined Chrysler’s Procurement and Supply organization, driving Quality across Chrysler suppliers from Advanced Quality Planning and PPAP perspective. Following that, he contributed to the development of a robust Supplier Quality management program practice at Intier Automotive (formerly division of Magna). Switching gears, Elio went on to drive continuous improvement from a technology perspective across many industries - Auto, Aerospace, Industry, Medical Device, and High-Tech. Later, while at PTC, he drove the value proposition across Engineering (CAD/PLM), Manufacturing (IIoT), and Service (SLM) operations for new and existing customers. He also spent some time working for BMC, an IT Service provider, in helping IT organizations drive down operating costs, reduce security threats, and facilitate business growth. Now at Rockwell, he leads the Value Consulting organization and engages with prospects and customers in defining the value of Rockwell’s Enterprise Software Technologies, including Plex, FactoryTalk and PTC applications. Elio holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (WPI); a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering (URI); and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan.
