Mr. Carpenter received electronics training in the US Navy. While attending college, he worked at two engineering firms for five years each before venturing off to establish WireFreeCNC. Recognized as a pioneer in wireless for the CNC manufacturing sector, he continues to lead innovation in the rapidly expanding IIOT marketspace. At the Smart Manufacturing Experience in Boston in 2018, for example, WireFreeCNC, with Mr. Carpenter at the helm, rebranded a product line coined “Excellerant” to simplify the collection of manufacturing data, allowing manufacturers to assess machine performance and usage quickly, accurately, and objectively. With access to real-time machine and operator data, Excellerant solves fundamental problems at every level of manufacturing -- from the shop floor to the executive suite.
