Ronald is the founder and president of Poiema Leadership Institute. He has 40 years of corporate experience in workers compensation, safety, and risk management. He has consulted for organizations in healthcare, manufacturing, temporary staffing, food processing, logistics, construction, transportation, and food service. Additionally, he worked with many employers in the public sector including cities, counties, public utilities, and school districts. Ronald has consulted for manufacturing companies in the following sectors: food, beverage, tobacco, textiles, wood products (including furniture), paper mills, printers, chemicals, plastics, rubber, metals (including machine shops), underground and open-pit mining, machinery, transportation (including automotive), and glass products. He also spent a major part of his career launching and managing groundbreaking programs for the staffing industry’s temporary manufacturing workers. Ronald’s corporate experience includes 25 years in leadership roles. He left corporate employment to devote full time to working with the manufacturing industry in the areas of leadership development, executive coaching, and organizational performance improvement. Ronald is a Certified Safety Professional (retired), Certified Performance Technologist, Certified Coach, Speaker, and Trainer, and a Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer. He has been a mentorship member of the Maxwell Certified Leadership Team for the past 11 years. Throughout his corporate career and his work as an independent consultant, Ronald has actively engaged in public speaking, delivering presentations at events ranging from small regional seminars to national and international conferences. These experiences have allowed him to share insights, influence industry discussions, and connect with diverse audiences.
